Pricing and what each tier buys
Three plans, ex VAT (re-checked 12 September 2026, unchanged since 29 July 2026): Business at £28/month flat, capped at exactly 1 user, with unlimited quotes, invoices and contacts, expense tracking, MTD compliance, supplier invoices, project management and job sheets, but no accounting integration. Professional at £32 per user/month, unlimited users, which adds digital forms and certificates, unlimited text/email, VAT return submission, Xero and QuickBooks integration, team management and staff location/time tracking. Premium at £40 per user/month, unlimited users, which adds everything in Professional plus the customer portal, automatic quote and invoice chasing, drag-and-drop scheduling, AI text and sketching.
Annual billing effectively gives two months free, and every plan includes free setup and training. The published price list also says the software works across PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, but we have not yet tested that cross-device experience ourselves.
Where it gives ground
The published integration list is the clearest gap: Xero and QuickBooks support starts at Professional, and Sage users won't find their platform on the pricing page's feature lists at all, whereas Tradify ships all three from its entry tier. If your accountant lives in Sage, that's your first trial question.
Independent user evidence is no longer a thin spot. Trustpilot showed 4.7/5 from 564 reviews, including 81 reviews in the preceding 12 months, when checked 26 September 2026. Feefo listed 270 reviews and a 5/5 service score from 43 ratings over the past year on the same date. Those platforms collect and verify reviews differently, so we do not compare their raw scores with Capterra or treat an aggregate as our own verdict. The repeated positive themes are support, onboarding and ease of day-to-day admin; a small negative minority raises price increases and post-cancellation data access as things worth checking before you commit.
What we haven't verified yet
Desk assessment: pricing and plan contents were rechecked on Powered Now's own pricing page on 12 September 2026 (unchanged since 29 July 2026), with MTD and team-role claims cross-checked against its help centre. Public-user evidence was refreshed on 26 September 2026 against Trustpilot and Feefo. We have not yet run the trial, submitted a test VAT return, checked certificate availability or used the mobile apps on a job, and public ratings do not substitute for those checks. This review will not carry a numeric score until our evidence rules allow it.
What real users say

Ease of everyday admin
PositiveRecent reviewers commonly describe quoting, invoicing, certification and general admin as straightforward, including comments from long-term users. We have not yet repeated those workflows ourselves, so this remains attributed user evidence rather than a TBV usability rating.

Price and leaving the service
MixedThe review mix is strongly positive overall, but the negative minority includes complaints about rising subscription cost and one long-term user's post-cancellation access to contacts and documents. One report does not establish a general policy, but it makes export and cancellation behaviour a sensible trial question.

If a specific gas/electrical certificate matters to you, confirm it exists in their forms library during the trial. We haven't verified individual certificate types.
The £28 Business plan is capped at 1 user; a second user needs Professional at £32/user/month, so team pricing scales from £32, not £28, per head.

Check your accounting platform and your certificates on the free trial, since those are the two places it could lose you.
