Privacy & analytics

Plainly, how we measure how the site is used and how we handle data. We keep tracking light, and we tell you what runs.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics for aggregated measurement of how the site is used. It is cookieless by default. It may collect information such as the URLs you visit, the referrer that sent you here, browser and device information, and an approximate location.

It may automatically record pageviews, outbound-link clicks and qualifying form submissions. We use this in aggregate to see which pages and tools are useful, not to identify individuals. As the site owner, we remain responsible for the website's privacy obligations.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is not currently active on the site. If we enable it in future, we will do so behind a proper consent mechanism and update this page first.

We don't sell your data. Where a form has no backend it opens a pre-filled email that you send yourself, so we only receive what you choose to send. This keeps data collection light, but it doesn't mean no personal data is ever processed.
