Powered Now is the UK-built entry in this category, and it plays that card well: Making Tax Digital compliance on the cheapest £28/month plan and VAT return submission from the £32 Professional tier, so quoting, invoicing and the VAT return live in one system. Pricing is transparent: £28/month flat for exactly 1 user (Business), then £32 or £40 per user/month for a team (Professional/Premium), all ex VAT, re-checked 12 September 2026, unchanged since 29 July 2026. Public review evidence is now substantial too: Trustpilot showed 4.7/5 from 564 reviews and Feefo listed 270 reviews when checked 26 September 2026, though their collection and verification methods differ and the scores are not directly comparable. This remains a desk assessment until we run Powered Now through our own workflow.
Known limitations
- Slimmer published integration ecosystem than the international rivals (Xero and QuickBooks arrive at Professional; no Sage on the published list)
- The strongest automation (auto-chasing, customer portal, drag-and-drop scheduling) sits on the top £40 tier
