What the shortlist can and can't do

This tool is deterministic. The same answers always produce the same shortlist, drawn only from the six-product dataset we've checked against vendor documentation. It is not personalised professional advice, and it doesn't learn from you. There is no account, no tracking and nothing to store.

A “must-have” answer, such as trade certificates, forms or timesheets, will hide tools where the vendor hasn't documented the feature. That is deliberate. We'd rather show you fewer honest options than pad the list with claims we can't stand behind. When a tool matches, we show the evidence gaps alongside the reasons, because the only thing that truly settles the choice is a free trial on your own jobs.
